What the sign says
The road has a hump, a dip or a step. At excessive speed the wheels go light and the car loses grip at the very moment you would need to steer.
The exam trap
The load suffers as much as the suspension: badly secured, it shifts at the first dip — and a shifting load stays the driver's responsibility.
