Give way
Priority signsSign no. 3.02OSR art. 36 al. 1
What the sign says
Downward-pointing triangle: give way without having to stop if the road is clear. You only stop if a priority vehicle is approaching.
The exam trap
It is the only downward-pointing triangle in Swiss signage — it cannot be mistaken for any other, even from afar or from behind.

Right of way and junctions
The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
