Direction and distance to the nearest emergency exit
Information signsSign no. 4.94OSR art. 62
What the sign says
The panel gives the nearest emergency exit: which way to walk, and how many metres remain.
The exam trap
In tunnels it is fixed to the wall at least every 50 metres, 1 to 1.5 m up — that is, at the eye level of someone walking, not someone driving.

The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
