No mopeds
Regulatory signsSign no. 2.06OSR art. 19
What the sign says
The sign bans using a moped with the engine running. Pushed, or pedalled with the engine off, it is still allowed.
The exam trap
That is the nuance separating it from its neighbour: the cycles-and-mopeds sign bans riding altogether, this one bans only the engine.

Signs and road markings
The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
