Overhead lane destination panel, main road
Information signsSign no. 4.41OSR art. 53
What the sign says
Hung over the road before a multi-lane junction, it says where each lane leads. The downward arrow marks the middle of the lane.
The exam trap
The arrow points at the middle of the lane, not the line beside it: that is what stops you reading the neighbouring lane's panel.

Signs and road markings
The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
