Side road with a hazard or restriction
Information signsSign no. 4.55OSR art. 54
What the sign says
On the side arm of a junction diagram, the panel reproduces the sign awaiting whoever takes that road: a hazard, a limit, a ban.
The exam trap
It is read before you turn, not after: a maximum height or weight announced this way is a decision not to take that road at all, especially with a trailer.

Signs and road markings
The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
