Left-hand bend
Warning signsSign no. 1.02OSR art. 4
What the sign says
A left-hand bend tight enough to require slowing before entering. Stay right: your line through the curve never cuts across the oncoming lane.
The exam trap
You see further round a left-hand bend than a right-hander, yet overtaking stays barred unless the road is clear over the whole distance needed.

The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
